I did these illustrations to serve as accompaniment for a page on the USGS website that describes how the agency partners with other groups. The ‘How We Partner’ series was meant to show ways that outside groups can get in touch with the U.S. Geological Survey to expand their research possibilities. I particularly wanted to include a diverse range of characters too show science is not limited to any one particular demographic.
