Ecosystem services are the direct and indirect benefits that ecosystems provide humans. I found that visualizing this concept is vital to a human understanding of what our changing climate will bring. We designed this series around highlighting the myriad benefits that a healthy, thriving ecosystem can offer. You will see several recurrent themes such as carbon capture and support of local fisheries.
